Our Purpose
While ZTA has a highly regarded National Housing Corporation that owns or manages over 100 chapter facilities, Delta Kappa is fortunate to be one of only 12 local House Corporations. DK of ZTA House Corporation has the responsibility of being financially self-sufficient and the authority to spend all available funds on our house at LSU. We receive no funds from LSU, the ZTA International Office, the ZTA Foundation or the ZTA National Housing Corporation. Our housing budget is prioritized based solely on local needs of the Delta Kappa chapter.
A dedicated group of Baton Rouge alumnae make up the DK House Corporation Board of Directors. The House Corporation leases the Zeta House to the Delta Kappa Chapter and as landlord is responsible for the upkeep of the house including maintenance, renovations due to wear and tear, and improvements to keep the house up to code and competitive on campus. The board works diligently to follow a 20 year plan designed to anticipate all housing maintenance and renovations.
Without the continued support of Zetas in the Baton Rouge area and across the country, this historic house could not remain a showpiece on the LSU campus and the proud home of the Delta Kappa chapter.
